New semester, new equipment!

We are delighted to announce a great change regarding the computer laboratories at UG’s Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics. With the beginning of the new semester, students and teachers will be able to use upgraded hardware components!

We have provided our laboratories with new, high-quality computers and monitors that You may now see in rooms: A001, A005, A015, A101, A102, A202 and C137 – in each of them more than 20 workstations ready for usage. What’s more, this vast group will soon expand with another lab C365, right now storing 15 monitors and 15 computers yet to install.

This fruitful project presents a result of many years of preparation and great effort. We can assure that the purchased equipment will not only look great in the attached photos, but will also enable highly effective work and learning experiences.

The new hardware is guaranteed a five-year warranty. However, we would also like it to be guaranteed Your utmost care and attention. Therefore, we kindly remind You of the rules in force regarding the computer laboratories, and ask You to follow them thoroughly.

What is worth to mention, the discussed project is the very first of such type on such a scale in the entire history of our Faculty. With this in mind, we encourage You to share Your suggestions for potential changes and improvements at FMPI.
